Education and the providing of information are a sensitive subject. Every newspaper article, every documentary is always influenced by the writers, the producers world-view.

To inform objectively or to obtain objective information seems to be almost impossible. Of course, this is also true for the documentaries and reportages provided on our platform.

However, getdocued as a platform for education and discussion does not depict a certain political view. To meet this standard, we are trying - especially when it comes to controversal subjects - to capture a broad, international range of opinions.

In addition, there will be a specified thread for each documentary in our forum, where you are invited to discuss the content of the movie with other users.

To grant independency, we are also trying to maintain a wide network of supporters, consisting of NGOs, (supra-)national institutions and companies, which are involved with the realm of corporate social responsibilty.

Thus networked, our project will not be dependent on personal interests, but will enable as many individuals as possible to join and support this idea, either individually or with their company or institution.

Getdocued is a project, created on the long term. Our close goal is to collect the legally available documentaries, which are already spread around the internet and provide them in a convenient way on our platform.

In the medium term, we are looking for cooperation with NGOs, public broadcasting stations and film libraries to increase the magnitude of issues and to provide a broad spectrum of topics and perceptions to you. Also, it is our goal to internationalize our supply of films and – with your help – attain users from all over the world as critial debaters for our forum.

In the long run, we are also hoping to overcome any language barriers and with your engagement organize international "Subber-Groups", who are willing to create subtitles for exceptional documentaries. When it comes to this, universities and their students will play a special role since they are able to overcome the culture-dividing barriers of language with their faculty of speech.
